Gennadiy Bogutskiy, JD, LLM
Barrister and Solicitor (Ontario and Saskatchewan)
Gennadiy is a lawyer called to the bar in Ontario and Saskatchewan, providing services in the areas of criminal law, extradition, immigration and refugee law as well as appellate litigation and professional discipline.
Gennadiy graduated with a Juris Doctor (JD) degree from the University of Windsor Faculty of Law in Ontario, Canada, having completed a full-time dual JD degree program with the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law in 2015-2018. Prior to that, Gennadiy completed a Master of Laws (LLM) degree at the University of Toronto in 2012.
After graduation from law school, Gennadiy gained 5 years of Criminal law experience as a Crown Prosecutor in the Prairie Provinces of Canada. Gennadiy also has significant experience in the area of Immigration and Refugee law, gained while working at a boutique immigration law firm as well as a multi-national immigration law firm which serves Fortune 500 companies.
During his law school studies, Gennadiy completed a number of
internships in Canada, Europe and the United States.
Gennadiy speaks English, Russian and Ukrainian. In his spare time, Gennadiy enjoys playing accordion and guitar. Gennadiy's hobbies include billiards (pool) and the German language, his long-time linguistic passion.
Daryna Bogutska, LLM
Articling student
Daryna is looking forward to becoming a licensed Barrister and
Solicitor in Ontario upon completion of her articles of clerkship. Daryna has significant in-house counsel experience preparing high
quality immigration, refugee and citizenship applications.
Daryna graduated from Osgood Hall Law School in Toronto, ON in 2021, having completed a full-time Canadian Common Law LLM degree, and her Master of Laws degree was followed by the successful completion of the National Committee of Accreditation requirements, authorizing Daryna to start the articles of clerkship.
During law school studies, Daryna completed a number of internships at immigration firms in Canada and at a notary office in Europe.
Daryna speaks English, Russian and Ukrainian. In her spare time,
Daryna enjoys swimming as well as French literature and language.
